Women Starting Out
Predicting your own future is impossible. One thing that is certain is that you will face lots of change. The lives and careers of women starting out today will be very different to those faced by parents before them. You will face risks of persistent unemployment, climate change and continuous technological innovation.
You will be healthier and live for longer than your parents. Between education and retirement, you could have a fifty year career.
Your career won’t be static. It’s likely to involve different working patterns, different employers, different sectors, maybe even different countries. You may need to learn new skills along the way, and you may be surprised by the course your career takes you.
You may want to marry and start a family; but that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on being financially, socially, spiritually independent.
So here’s our advice. Don’t enter this phase of your life without knowing your options. Develop skills, learn to strive for financial independence. We’ll help you get there.
